Principal, Large-Scale Development
We are hiring a Principal, Large-Scale Development to own and close large-scale commercial opportunities across utility-scale developers, IPPs, large-load customers, and capital partners.
This is a deal-focused business development role. You will carry a pipeline, work complex multi-stakeholder transactions, and establish Planted as the default execution layer for the world’s largest power users. The person we’re looking for has closed infrastructure transactions including project M&A, tax equity, long-term offtake, or portfolio development, and has the network and judgment to originate new ones. You’ve worked deals where the development cycle is long, the counterparties are sophisticated, and the margin for error is low.
The salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 – $230,000 plus stock options and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience, job-specific skills, education, and work location. The target experience for the position is 7+ years.
Senior Project Procurement & Logistics Lead
Planted Solar is seeking an organized and execution-focused Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Lead to own the end-to-end supply chain for our solar projects, including for structural and DC electrical balance of system (BOS) materials. This role is key to project success, requiring a person who can manage across project timelines, lead times, supplier sourcing and capabilities, and logistics to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
This role will operate cross functionally, liaising with both Project Managers and the Field team. You will own project material delivery and logistics and will build internal communication loops between teams to root cause, remediate, and prevent risks to quality project completion. You will manage the entire lifecycle from the project Bill of Materials (BoM) and technical specifications through to the final delivery of materials and equipment on-site. The ideal candidate thrives on managing complex schedules and supplier relationships to deliver on project success. You will own supplier relationships to ensure vendor quality, as well as grow Planted’s procurement internal procurement infrastructure.
The salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 – $150,000 plus stock options and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience, job-specific skills, education, and work location. The target experience for the position is 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
Senior Field Engineer, Construction
Planted Solar is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Senior Field Engineer to manage the successful installation of Planted’s commercial- and utility-scale solar arrays. The Senior Field Engineer serves as Planted’s onsite technical authority, providing oversight and management of our subcontractors to ensure their execution aligns with our engineering designs. This role is key to project success, requiring someone with a high attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality project installation.
This role will be responsible for training Planted’s subcontractors on our array installation methods and ensuring project execution from project mobilization through testing and final completion. Throughout the installation process, the Senior Field Engineer will maintain a regular on-site presence and will work with Planted’s subcontractors to identify areas for efficiency, safety, and QC improvements. This role will act as Planted’s first-in-line point of contact for subcontractors while onsite. You will also be responsible for detailed reporting throughout construction and ensuring effective subcontractor reporting methods.
You will operate cross functionally, liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, and the Procurement team to ensure project execution that aligns with project schedule and engineering and material procurement specs.
The salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 – $170,000 plus stock options and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience, job-specific skills, education, and work location. The target experience for the position is 5+ years of relevant experience.
