Women in Cleantech & Sustainability fosters an influential network of professionals advancing the roles of women in growing the green economy and making a positive impact on the environment.

In 2026, the newly established Portland Chapter brings this mission to life through a thoughtful mix of signature convenings, ecosystem collaborations, community partner events, and chapter-powered meetups. Together, these experiences create meaningful moments of connection while keeping the chapter closely linked to the broader climate and innovation ecosystem rooted in (Portland and) the Pacific Northwest – inviting curiosity, participation, and support from a growing community of leaders, volunteers, members, and partners across career stages and sectors.

Language Matters:

Women, as used by Women in Cleantech & Sustainability Portland Chapter, includes cisgender women, transgender women, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and gender-diverse individuals who identify with or experience alignment with women’s communities.

Cleantech: Technology and innovation that reduce environmental impact while strengthening economic performance.

Sustainability: The design of economic and social systems that can thrive long-term — environmentally, financially, and socially.
