Mentorship Program

About the Program:

The Women in Cleantech & Sustainability Mentorship Program is a 3-month, cohort-based program which supports women in advancing their careers in the cleantech and sustainability sectors.

Program features:

  • Regular one-on-one meetings with a mentor
  • 3 group events to share insights and network
  • Small cohort of industry professionals
WHO SHOULD BE A MENTEE?
WHO SHOULD BE A MENTEE?

Women pursuing a career in cleantech or sustainability, whether just starting, transitioning, or advancing your career. Mentees should have less than five years of work experience or be in career transition. WCS Chapter Membership (SF or LA) is required to participate in the program.

Seasoned professionals of any gender with at at least six years experience in the clean economy, who wish to help advance a new generation of women in the field. Mentees generally will have less than 5 years of work experience or are in a career transition.

Duration

The program kicks off with an orientation call on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 at 6pm PT.  The program runs for three months (January – March 2023) and includes three virtual cohort events on Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm PT.

  • February 22nd
  • March 29th, 2023

Mentor/ mentee pairs will arrange a series of one-on-one meetings to take place during the course of the program (i.e., one per month for a total of 3 one-on-one meetings). Mentor/mentee pairs will decide on the cadence together.
