Staff or Principal Applications Engineer

We are seeking a Staff Applications Engineer to establish Antora’s applications engineering function, the technical bridge between our product platform and commercial projects. Working alongside our business development, project development, product management, and analytics teams, you will configure Antora’s thermal batteries for specific customer sites and applications: industrial process heat, combined heat & power, and utility-scale power for data centers and the grid, in the U.S. and internationally. You will own the technical solution for every opportunity from first conversation through term sheet: running technical discovery with customer engineering/operations teams, sizing and configuring the system for each site, producing conceptual site layouts and heat and power integration designs, setting the technical basis for performance guarantees, and building the cost estimates behind LOIs (Letter of Intent), term sheets, and investment decisions, then handing projects to our project engineering team for detailed design and execution. This is a founding role for this function: you’ll define the playbooks, build tools, and help grow the team as our pipeline scales.
Staff or Principal, Generation Interconnection & Grid Engineering

Antora is seeking a Staff / Principal, Interconnection & Grid Engineering to lead the technical execution of generation interconnection processes for Antora’s thermal energy storage projects across multiple RTOs/ISOs (MISO, SPP, ERCOT, and others as the portfolio expands). This is a hands-on role: the person in this seat will own interconnection applications and studies end to end, direct the consultants who perform detailed modeling work, and bring independent technical judgment to configuration, sizing, and de-risking decisions long before a project reaches a formal queue.
The ideal candidate combines deep power systems engineering fundamentals (one-line diagrams, load flow, short circuit, stability, and dynamic modeling) with practical fluency in how interconnection actually works inside each RTO/ISO — the paperwork, the study milestones, the informal norms, and the levers available to move a project faster or cheaper. This role partners closely with Antora’s transmission strategy, project development, and policy teams, and is central to translating a proposed project site into a technically sound, de-risked interconnected project.
Staff Structured Origination Manager

The Staff Structured Origination Manager will lead Antora’s efforts to identify, evaluate, acquire, and co-develop energy projects for long-duration energy storage (LDES) deployment. This role is uniquely focused on co-location strategies with renewable developers, identifying solar and wind projects in MISO, SPP, PJM, and other markets, and structuring complex, multi-party agreements that allow Antora to add storage to the grid.
A core part of this role is originating and structuring novel commercial agreements with renewable developers, enabling Antora to deliver value to its customers and generate strong risk-adjusted returns. The Senior Manager will sit at the intersection of M&A, energy markets, project development, and structured finance, building Antora’s pipeline of co-located storage projects through developer relationships, rigorous diligence, and creative deal structuring.
Director of Grid Policy

Antora is hiring a Director of Grid Policy to lead regional and state-level regulatory advocacy on transmission, interconnection, and resource adequacy issues that are critical to the commercial success of Antora’s long-duration storage and 24/7 energy products. This person will manage high-level negotiations and policy advocacy with RTOs, public utility commissions, and state legislatures, partnering closely with Antora’s policy team and the energy commercial team (led by the Director of Energy) to ensure Antora’s technology receives accurate, favorable regulatory treatment as the company scales into new products, states, and RTOs.
Senior or Staff Electrical Engineer

Antora is seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing electrical systems for our innovative thermal energy storage system. Your expertise will be essential in defining electrical scope and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety practices. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical distribution, transformation, and control of large (>100MW) medium voltage systems. We are seeking someone who can work onsite in San Jose, California – however, we may consider remote.
