Los Angeles Chapter Inaugural Event & Corporate ESG Fireside Chat

NOVEMBER 17 | 3:30 PM PST

USC Sustainability Hub

This event is a celebration of officially launching the Women in Cleantech and Sustainability, Los Angeles Chapter. As part of this celebration we are hosting a fireside chat on working in Corporate Sustainability and the growing importance of this function. Deloitte’s 2022 Sustainability Action report highlights that 57% of executives have already implemented a cross-functional WSG working group tasked with driving strategic attention to ESG.

Sustainability and ESG (environmental, social and governance) are initiatives that have become imperative in business with the threat of climate change and climate risk. Attendees will learn  how working in corporate sustainability has changed over the last several years as well as what is important today. We will discuss what is important to think about in navigating a career in corporate sustainability.
