This role supports areas of field Service operation within Sungrow USA related to commissioning, warranty, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the expanding installed sites in the region. Reporting to the regional field service supervisor, this position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and commissioning support of PV inverters and ancillary equipment/ systems, usually at the customer’s site or at a staging yard/warehouse. This position will comply with the Safety Mandate, “ZERO HARM,” to ensure safe and efficient work and operation of the facility for all personnel and equipment. Ensures that personnel and safety issues are given priority to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. SCADA & Network Engineer

United States (Remote)

Sungrow is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled SCADA Network Engineer to support utility-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects within the Sungrow COE organization. This role will focus on industrial communications, SCADA integration, OT networking, Linux-based systems, and interoperability between BESS equipment, EMS/PCS systems, customer SCADA platforms, and utility interfaces.

The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols including Modbus, CANbus, RS-485, OPC UA, DNP3, and IEC 61850, along with practical experience integrating and troubleshooting SCADA and historian platforms such as Ignition and AVEVA PI System (OSIsoft PI).

This position will work cross-functionally with engineering, commissioning, service, and customer teams to support commissioning activities, diagnose communication issues, validate data flow, and optimize system integration for utility-scale projects.

Working under the guidance of Engineers and Repair Center Leads, this position supports repair operations through accurate diagnostics, component replacement, functional testing, commissioning support, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement activities. Depending on assigned functional responsibilities, the Technician may perform repair center operations, travel to customer sites, or support field service and commissioning activities.

Electrical Engineer – Training Center

Houston, TX

The Electrical Engineer I in the training center is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering technical training programs for internal service field engineers (FSEs), service vendor partners, and customers. This role ensures that all participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Sungrow products, that include installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance procedures. The Trainer will also evaluate training effectiveness, assess the FSEs training performance, and make necessary adjustments to improve training outcomes.

Electrical Engineer – BESS

The Electrical Engineer position is a hybrid or Onsite position depending on the department requirement, and it plays an important role with this rapidly growing company. This is a very dynamic and fast-track position reporting to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager inside the service engineering group. The position will be the key member of the service engineering team and it is a highly technical customer facing position.

RMA Technician – Repair Center

Houston, TX

The Repair Center Technician – General is responsible for supporting Repair Center operations through material handling, RMA processing, inventory transactions, equipment movement, shipping and receiving, operational documentation, and workflow coordination.

Working under the direction of the Repair Center Lead and Supervisor, this position ensures efficient movement of materials throughout the Repair Center while maintaining accurate records, inventory integrity, and compliance with operational procedures. The Technician plays a critical role in supporting repair operations by ensuring products, components, and materials are processed accurately and efficiently.

Vendor Dispatch Coordinator

Houston, TX

The Vendor Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of vendor service requests, from initial review through completion. This role evaluates dispatch requirements, confirms the scope of work, identifies qualified vendors and technicians, coordinates scheduling, and ensures services are completed safely, accurately, and within established timelines.

On a day-to-day basis, the Vendor Dispatch Coordinator reviews and prioritizes incoming requests, works with Field Service and Engineering to clarify technical requirements, prepares and sends vendor RFQs, evaluates quotes, confirms technician qualifications and availability, issues Purchase Orders, and submits spare parts request, tracks spare parts and dispatch progress. The coordinator also maintains accurate records in Airtable, GSP, C4, Cargowise and other service management systems, follows up on open assignments, reviews quotes for accuracy, resolves vendor or scheduling issues, and communicates status updates to internal teams and customers. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, technical problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
