Senior / Staff Software Engineer, Cloud & Real Time Infrastructure

Remote

Antora Energy is seeking an engineer to own the real-time cloud infrastructure connecting our software systems to physical hardware.

Every five minutes, our software determines how our thermal batteries should charge and discharge. Those decisions must travel reliably through our messaging infrastructure and reach physical assets in the field. In the other direction, plant telemetry flows from the edge into our cloud data warehouse, where it must be complete, timely, and trustworthy enough to support operational decisions and financial trading.

You’ll also own the corporate cloud platform that the rest of the company builds on. While these systems have very different service-level requirements, they share a need for thoughtful architecture, strong operational practices, and reliable tooling.

We’re hiring one person for a scope that many companies divide across multiple teams. This is a high-impact opportunity to establish platform-wide standards, unify observability, and shape our infrastructure and operational strategy from end to end.

Senior / Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack Software Products

Remote

Antora Energy is looking for a full-stack product engineer to build the software products that power our business – from external customer experiences to internal tools used by teams across Business Development, Operations, and R&D.

In this role, you’ll help shape product vision, design the underlying data models, and connect AI systems with the business logic that makes them useful. You’ll own products end to end, working directly with users to understand their workflows, translate ambiguous needs into practical solutions, and ship software that performs reliably in production.

You’ll also help build Antora’s long-term software capabilities. That means creating systems, standards, and guardrails that allow partner teams to safely modify existing tools and build new ones within our ecosystem – without engineering becoming a bottleneck.

This is a highly autonomous role with direct influence over how software is designed and built at Antora. We’re looking for deep expertise in one or more core areas – such as software engineering, data modeling, AI integration, or product development – along with the curiosity and practical judgment to work across the full stack.

Sr Manager or Principal, Generation Interconnection & Grid Engineering

Remote, USA

Antora is seeking a Sr Manager or Principal, Interconnection & Grid Engineering to lead the technical execution of generation interconnection processes for Antora’s thermal energy storage projects across multiple RTOs/ISOs (MISO, SPP, ERCOT, and others as the portfolio expands). This is a hands-on role: the person in this seat will own interconnection applications and studies end to end, direct the consultants who perform detailed modeling work, and bring independent technical judgment to configuration, sizing, and de-risking decisions long before a project reaches a formal queue.

The ideal candidate combines deep power systems engineering fundamentals (one-line diagrams, load flow, short circuit, stability, and dynamic modeling) with practical fluency in how interconnection actually works inside each RTO/ISO — the paperwork, the study milestones, the informal norms, and the levers available to move a project faster or cheaper. This role partners closely with Antora’s transmission strategy, project development, and policy teams, and is central to translating a proposed project site into a technically sound, de-risked interconnected project.

Sr. or Staff Business Development Analyst

San Jose, CA

The Business Development Analyst is an integral member of Antora’s international development team, providing essential support to senior team members focused on originating high-quality industrial decarbonization projects. These are large scale, often >$100M industrial energy projects requiring close technical and economic team collaboration across a broad internal and external team. This role involves identifying market opportunities, supporting customer onboarding and early project development, conducting initial financial modeling, and developing project proposals. Projects are mostly international, with initial focus in Spain and Australia, but will include projects in other countries including the US. The Analyst will also contribute to developing and streamlining processes and systems that enhance the development team’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Sr. or Staff Project Developer, International Development

San Jose, CA

The Project Development Manager – International will be a central hub in Antora’s commercial project development function, and specifically be part of Antora’s international team currently focused on Spain and Australia projects. They will organize a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to advance Antora’s energy storage projects and power generation projects from ideation to the execution of commercial contracts. This requires establishing project plans and coordinating efforts across engineering, business development, power supply and project finance teams as well as driving community engagement efforts by representing Antora to landowners and local leaders.

The strongly preferred location for this position is to work out of Antora’s San Jose, California HQ and factory, though we will also consider excellent candidates based in Madrid, Spain or Sydney, Australia, or remote in the U.S.

Staff or Principal Applications Engineer

Remote, USA

We are seeking a Staff or Principal Applications Engineer to establish Antora’s applications engineering function — the senior technical authority for the customer opportunities that don’t fit a standard template. Antora’s standard configurations run through repeatable tools and playbooks operated by our business development team; you will own everything that doesn’t: the first-of-a-kind applications, constrained sites, and novel configurations of Antora’s thermal batteries across industrial process heat and utility-scale power for data centers and the grid, in the U.S. and internationally.

When we dive into a new customer application, you are the engineer who joins the first call, earns the trust of senior customer technical leadership, and creatively develops the solution around Antora’s product: running technical discovery, sizing and configuring the system, producing conceptual site layouts and heat and power integration designs, setting the technical basis for performance guarantees, and building the cost estimates behind commercial contracts and investment decisions, then handing a clean basis of design to our project engineering team for detailed design and execution. You are also the technical conscience on what Antora commits to, with the standing and judgment to hold the line on feasibility, schedule, and performance so we win deals we can actually deliver.

This role will report to the VP of Product Management within Antora’s Commercial team.

Heavy Equipment & Rigging Specialist

San Jose, CA

We are looking for an experienced Production Heavy Equipment & Rigging Specialist to join our manufacturing team, reporting to the Production Supervisor. This role supports day-to-day manufacturing operations with a focus on safe material handling, industrial lifting, rigging, equipment movement, and production support. The ideal candidate has experience operating industrial lifting and material-handling equipment in a manufacturing, construction, port, logistics, military, or heavy industrial environment. This may include cranes, hoists, forklifts, lift-assist devices, hydraulic straddle carriers, gantry cranes, and other equipment used to move machinery, oversized loads, and shipping containers. This individual should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires strong communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrated ability to train or mentor operators and technicians on safe equipment operation, load handling, rigging practices, and material movement procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to an exciting company with a Team and Mission first environment.

Sr. Material Planner

San Jose, CA

As a Sr. Material Planner, you will be the hands-on owner of day-to-day material readiness—from maintaining MRP data integrity to coordinating with suppliers and supporting the production floor in real time. Your accuracy and sense of urgency will keep our master production schedule on track and our thermal-battery builds flowing. At the senior level, you will also shape planning processes, mentor team members, and drive cross-functional improvement initiatives that scale with our growth. You will report to the Material Planning Manager and collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Procurement teams.
