Melinda Briana Epler

Founder and CEO, Empovia

Melinda has over 25 years of experience developing business innovation and inclusion strategies for startups, Fortune 500 companies, and global NGOs. As CEO of Empovia, she works with the tech industry to solve diversity and inclusion issues. Her popular TED talk “3 Ways to Be a Better Ally in the Workplace” reached one million views in the first 24 days of its release. She is also host of the popular podcast series “Leading with Empathy and Allyship.” She is author of How to Be an Ally (McGraw-Hill). 

Annette Poulimenos

Talent Acquisition Manager at Terrasmart

Annette has been working as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Terrasmart since July 2022. Prior to that, she served as a Practice Director at Robert Half, where she led a team of Staffing Managers. With over 20 years of professional experience in Leadership, Finance, IT, Sales, and HR, Annette has always prioritized starting or joining DEI initiatives in the organizations she’s worked for. She has brought this experience to Terrasmart and has created its first Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Action Committee.

Eden Higgins

Vice President, Practice Leader, Duffy Group, Inc

Eden has more than a decade of experience in Human Resources, leading startups and large corporations in recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and strategic planning. With hands-on experience in diverse industries, she has a holistic perspective to executive search and recruitment. Eden is passionate about renewable energy recruitment and emerging technologies, and fosters relationships with top-tier talent. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Arizona State University. When not working, she coaches cross country and track at Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix. As Vice President/Practice Leader of Duffy Group, Eden goes the extra mile for clients.

Chelly Conley

Director of Global Diversity Inclusion and Belonging, KnowBe4

Chelly has 10 years of experience in the Human Resources Industry, currently working as a Director of Global Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for KnowBe4. Her expertise has developed into DEI, Coaching, Organizational Design, Training, and Employee Engagement. She is on the Board of Directors for the Florida National Diversity Council. She also is the Director of Diversity on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Society of Human Resources Chapter that focuses on creating initiatives to foster D&I within the chapter. Chelly is certified in HR and Diversity currently holding the SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CDP, and CDE. She is also an alum of Saint Leo University with a Masters in Business Administration.
