Two member-focused principles guide our committee:

We support every woman in any stage of her career, who seeks help on her career path in cleantech and sustainability.
What to expect:
The Career Development Committee helps women expand their networks and develop leadership skills by offering programs and events that equip our community with effective business skills needed to advance in the green economy.
Our programs are built to support and empower women to take the lead in their own career growth. Through skillset sharing, mentor matching, and networking opportunities, our members are able to create a path towards the future that they envision.
We currently offer two Career Development Programs:
🌐 Career Mentorship Program
The program goal is to connect Mentors and Mentees to accelerate early/mid stage career development. This is achieved through guidance, advice, and constructive feedback from mentors who bring more industry or professional experience. Learn the skills of vision writing, networking, negotiation, and personal branding to help you excel in your career.
🌐 Professional Development Workshops
Our program goal is to equip and empower women with skills-building workshops that are foundational to career success and timely for today’s workplace. Learn through interactive training where skills can be easily applied to help sustain your career over time.
We encourage our WCS community to join us in an upcoming Mentorship Cohort or quarterly Professional Development Workshop.
