Natalie Aldrich

Climate Tech Investor at Plug and Play Ventures

Talk Title: A Diverse and Decarbonized Energy Mix

Natalie is a Ventures Associate at Plug and Play in the Energy and Sustainability verticals. During her tenure, she has led 2 investments in the sustainability and decarbonization spaces and consults Fortune 500 companies in crafting their energy transition and decarbonization investment strategies. Prior to Plug and Play, Natalie worked in utility-scale solar and storage development at Pine Gate Renewables and at Enel X in demand response operations. She is the lead associate overseeing the Hydrogen Value Chain research to keep all our partners updated on emerging alternative and sustainable technologies that will help our planet meet carbon emission reduction goals and decarbonize the energy industry.

Natalie holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from UC Santa Barbara.

Khadija Stewart

Founder at Ecovybz Environmental Creatives

Talk Title: Youth Activism on an Unsustainable Planet

Khadija is an enthusiastic environmentalist with a passion for inspiring behaviour change through knowledge sharing and innovative storytelling. She holds a BSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Management, a MSc in sustainable development with Management Studies and a 2nd MSc in Climate Change and Development from the University of London.

Throughout Khadija’s environmental journey, she has represented Trinidad and Tobago at the 8th World Water Forum with the World Youth Parliament for Water in 2018, at the Peace Boat Ocean and Climate Youth Ambassador Program in 2019 and at the Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit in Oslo with Sustainable Ocean Alliance also in 2019. Presently, Khadija is the founder of Ecovybz Environmental Creatives, a company focused on educating the public through environmental content creation and powerful storytelling initiatives focused on Climate Change, Ocean Conservation and Water Resources. At the core of her work is the youth and equipping them with the knowledge to be effective agents of change. Khadija is also the host of the EcoVybz Podcast and the Caribbean Regional Representative for Sustainable Ocean Alliance. At present she has completed the Caribbean Ocean Perspectives Project, The Thinking Beyond the Tides Capacity building workshop and she is currently working on The Caribbean Youth Against Seabed Mining Project and The Synthetic Sea Project aimed at tackling the plastic pollution problem.

Keally DeWitt

VP of Marketing & Public Policy at Gaf Energy

Talk Title: We make the way by walking: on Machado, mentorship, and professional pathmaking

Keally comes to solar with the conviction that carbon-neutral is the new black. She started in renewables as the Head of Marketing for the largest solar company in the Northeast before moving into marketing and public policy leadership roles at Sunrun and SunPower. As the National Organizing Director of The Alliance for Solar Choice (TASC), Fortune magazine described the netroots work she pioneered as “radically changing” political advocacy through digital technology. Prior to joining GAF Energy, she served as Head of Marketing at Mosaic. She has a BA from Brown University. Her favorite roof is the one she used to sit on as a kid, listening to the cicadas, outside her bedroom window in Southwest Ohio.

Olga Terets is a corporate associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison Foerster and a member of the firm’s Social Enterprise + Impact Investing and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) groups.
