Fostering the Female Founder Ecosystem and Connecting with Thought Leaders

The WCS Entrepreneur Circle or E-Circle is a three-month cohort program designed for women entrepreneurs to communicate, reflect, and connect with each other, organized by the WCS Entrepreneurship Committee. More than a mentorship program, as a member of the E-Circle you will connect virtually and within Slack to share specific advice on their businesses and lives and build relationships with 11 other impressive entrepreneurs who share your feelings and experience with you.

What is the E-Circle? 

This exclusive program is a three-month cohort that brings together women entrepreneurs with industry leaders to provide them with a vibrant community where participants can learn from each other, support those facing challenges, and share resources. WCS E-Circle is all about: 

• Entrepreneurial Focus: let women entrepreneurs share, learn, and be heard 
• Small Cohort & Conversations: Share or listen with purpose. We want each cohort of entrepreneurs to connect and communicate during & after the three meetups
• Sharing resources with timely topics

How it Works

The first cohort of WCS E-Circle will start in Jan 2023. After careful selection of applicants, 12 cohort members and keynote speakers attend one orientation meeting and three monthly meetings from January to March 2023. With the exception of the orientation meeting, each event will feature one guest speaker sharing their advice or industry insights with the group. After the talk, the group will discuss one of the top-mentioned concerns by the group.  At the end of the three-month period, members will have an opportunity to continue in the group or rotate off.

Criteria 

1. Participants should be founders or co-founders who identify as women 
2. Startups should operate in markets such as cleantech, climate tech, energy, or sustainability 
3. Startups from pre-seed to Series A funding rounds 
4. Participants are able to attend three meetups.
