Mission Statement
The mission of the Los Angeles Chapter is to build a regional WCS community of professionals that connects, cultivates, and creates new opportunities for participants through events focused on Southern California.
Description
The Los Angeles Chapter organizes virtual and in-person events that cater to people living in Southern California and feature topics important to the region’s environment and residents. We collaborate with various community organizations, industry leaders, and volunteers to host regular events.

Audrey Josephson-Day LA Chapter Co-Lead
Audrey is a Program Manager at the Just Transition Fund, where she supports communities in economic transition through data analysis, proposal review, and impact measurement. With a background in education and a Master’s in Community Development from Vanderbilt, Audrey is driven by a deep commitment to equity and sustainable economic solutions. She lives in California and enjoys libraries, live music, and exploring the outdoors.

Akanksha Mathur LA Chapter Co-Lead
Akanksha is the Director of Business Operations at Wallbox Chargers, a leading provider of electric vehicle charging and energy management solutions. She oversees the company’s business and sales operations, contributing to its growth in the North American market. Wallbox recently opened its first North American manufacturing facility in Arlington, Texas, in October 2022, with Akanksha’s leadership playing a crucial role in driving the company’s expansion and ensuring operational excellence.
