Global Planner I (RDC)

Perrysburg, OH

This role will be responsible for day-to-day execution of end-to-end planning processes of assigned materials in conjunction with an aligned strategy. The candidate is tasked with managing incoming raw material stock levels in conjunction with the demand plan to support the Research and Development Center (RDC) manufacturing operations. This position is a key driver in ensuring that adequate inventory is available to ensure production uptime, while optimizing inventory levels.

Human Resource Generalist I (HR Operations and Global Mobility/Immigration)

Technician- Automation I USA (Crew B)

The following is an entry level Automation Technician controls position where a successful candidate will be required to support manufacturing operations, assist with equipment implementation/startup, PLC/HMI programing, and troubleshooting/optimization of manufacturing processes control systems. This position directly supports a manufacturing site; the successful candidate will be assigned to a manufacturing schedule on either AM or PM crew/shift. AM shift is 6:00AM – 6:10PM. PM shift is 6:00PM – 6:10AM. This results in a rotating 36/48-hour work week schedule, which includes working every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Engineer- Manufacturing I USA

The Manufacturing Engineer will install and qualify new process equipment as well as troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues on the production line in a timely manner. These include tool-down issues, yield, quality issues, and identifying actions to prevent repeat issues. Identifying and/or implementing system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield, and product performance goals.

Clerk- CMMS and Spare Parts I USA (Crew C)

  • Follow and retrieve urgent spare parts from CMMS and warehousing systems.
  • Ensure work order data is inputted in CMMS on shiftly basis.
  • Deliver data needed to drive shift KPI’s for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Monitor shift KPI’s for technical group leads.
  • Maintain PM records and other pertinent data that is deemed necessary for future improvement(s).
  • Monitor return to stock, internal and external OSP process to include inputting information and working with shipping to ensure part movement through the system on a shiftly basis.
  • Maintain Line side spares cabinets and pull data ensuring groups are following system.
  • Help maintain maintenance areas (shop, SIHI and valve rebuild and spare parts staging areas).
  • Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Supervisor- Recycling and Wastewater USA (Crew D)

New Iberia, LA

Plans and supervises the scheduling of daily work assignments of all wastewater treatment and Recycling personnel. Responsible for training and developing direct reports. Provides clear direction to hourly associates, contractors, and vendors to ensure that First Solar’s standards are being met. Responsible for communicating objectives, systems, and policies to direct reports across four shifts. Responsible for working with the appropriate departments to handle employee relations issues. This position is a frontline plant supervisor position with majority of the work time spent on the plant floor to assist technicians and to manage plant operations in a safe and compliant manner. The position is expected to collaborate with other area supervisors to meet the company goals.

The Human Resources Manager performs management-level strategic human resources related duties for First Solar. Ensures all human resources functions and activities run effectively and efficiently and in accordance with First Solar’s Code of Conduct, Behaviors & Core Values. Carries out responsibilities across the HR generalist spectrum, including the following functional areas: recruiting, employee relations, transaction preparation & processing, process and procedure development and interpretation, benefits, training & communication. Oversees’ and directs the work of reporting HR staff and encourages the development of the HR staff.
