Sara Eve Fuentes
CEO of SmartWaste

Sara, the Founder and President of SmartWaste, is a leader in reducing commercial waste with 10 years of experience in the industry. Smart Waste, a Minority Women-owned start-up, focuses on Waste Technologies, Waste Systems, and Vendor Management for Zero Waste programs. Their core values are Transparency, Circularity, and People, aiming to influence communities to practice a zero-waste lifestyle. They seek to work with companies aligned with their values and goals. Sara is also the Chairwoman of Women in Cleantech in Sustainability.

Chiman Lee
Director of Operations at Corporate eWaste Solutions (CEWS)

Chiman is the Director of Operations for Northern California at Corporate eWaste Solutions (CEWS), where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing corporate sales, marketing, and business development. Under his leadership, CEWS has significantly expanded, diverting over 70 million pounds of e-waste from landfills. He is also involved in social impact initiatives, such as providing refurbished laptops to low-income families and refugees through programs like “Tech for Good” and “Connecting Newcomers.”

Ulises Zatarain
Executive Director of Tech Exchange

Ulises is the Executive Director of Tech Exchange, a nonprofit organization in Oakland, California, dedicated to promoting digital equity. With over fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Ulises has emphasized digital literacy and sustainable technology practices. Under his leadership, Tech Exchange distributed over 10,000 devices to those in need in 2022. Ulises is also involved in community events, such as the Green Tech & Sustainability roundtable, to promote environmental responsibility.
