Robotics Quality Engineer
Fremont, California, USA
Product Quality Ownership:
- Serve as the technical quality lead for robotic and electronic products—ensuring hardware, firmware, and electromechanical integration meet Nextracker standards.
- Partner with design, test, and manufacturing engineering to embed quality and reliability controls early in the product lifecycle.
- Define, implement, and validate product test and inspection requirements across PCBA, harness, motion control, and sensor subsystems.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) through DFMEA/PFMEA execution, control plan creation, and design verification test (DVT) oversight.
- Validate and qualify test systems and automated inspection tools for functional verification of complex assemblies.
- Drive product-level reliability testing (HALT, HASS, burn-in, and environmental stress screening) and feed results into design improvements.
Supplier & Component Quality:
- Evaluate and approve suppliers for electronic and robotic assemblies—PCBs, actuators, control boards, sensors, and embedded systems.
- Audit supplier facilities to confirm process capability, traceability, and quality control for critical components.
- Lead technical reviews on defect trends, early-life failure data, and product field returns (RMA/FA), driving corrective and preventive action.
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and advanced data analytics (Cp, Cpk, Weibull, X̄-R) to monitor and improve part and system performance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality scorecards with metrics that emphasize reliability and system performance consistency
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to validate design for manufacturability, serviceability, and long-term reliability.
- Translate customer and field feedback into actionable product improvement initiatives.
- Support failure investigations through structured root cause methodologies (8D, 5-Why, fault tree analysis) and ensure learnings are applied to future designs.
- Champion the “design for quality” mindset across the product organization—linking field performance data directly to design and supplier improvements.
Sr. Engineering Program Manager

Senior Supply Planner, Inventory

The Sr. Supply Planner, Inventory is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing Nextpower’s enterprise inventory planning framework across regions and business lines. This role leads global inventory planning governance, owns global inventory policy execution, and partners with regional planning teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right locations, at the right time, and at the right cost.
The role will drive the deployment of planning tools (Anaplan and related analytics/MRP), standardize planning parameters and processes, and ensure inventory decisions are KPI-driven and aligned with financial and service-level targets.
Facilities Assistant

- Assist with Facilities Management’s responsibilities for Nextpower’s North America locations including offices, labs, and warehouses.
- Assist with building improvement projects, vendor management, purchase orders, invoices, and the coordination of maintenance and repairs. Monitor and ensure that all vendors comply with insurance requirements by overseeing Certificates of Insurance. Help contact vendors for COI updates and revisions, file and accurately track the documents
- Respond promptly to requests for building maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, etc. from building occupants
- Facilities Assistant should have hand tools skills, excellent troubleshooting & repairs skills and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Facilities Assistant should have advanced Microsoft Office Skills, able to manipulate PDF files, create and edit Power Point presentations.
- Support seating charts, staff accommodations and related software.
- Assist in supporting Nextpower’s Emergency Response Program, Environmental Health, and Safety Programs and their monitoring.
- Support the demands of our ISO 45001 Environmental, Health & Safety , ISO 14001 Environmental, Social, Governance and ISO 9001 Quality Management System certifications upon our Facilities daily operations.
- Complete assigned action lists and provide weekly reports detailing achievements, issues, and new objectives.
- Assist in support of Security Guards & Systems, Janitorial Services, and other maintenance-related service providers ensuring the upkeep of different facilities.
- Candidate is expected to have or soon obtain OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Candidate is expected to work occasional evening and weekend hours
