Wildfire Mitigation Regulatory Analytics Team Lead (Hybrid) (#23-67240)

Manages and directs the Wildfire Mitigation Program Regulatory Analytics team within Wildfire Mitigation Strategy to ensure resources are optimized in support of strategic initiatives and activities. Responsible for the filing of the Utility Wildfire Mitigation Maturity Assessment (UWMMA), ensuring compliance with risk modeling requirements and OEIS workshops, supporting the development and visualization of risk models. Responsible for supporting the development of compliance filings such as the Annual Wildfire Mitigation Plan, PSPS Pre and Post Season Reports, PSPS ten-day reports, General Rate Case, and any associated data requests. Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts of existing requirements, new requirements, and mandates to build business case for additional resources. Participates in joint-utility meetings to understand best-practices and to benchmark SDG&E’s wildfire mitigation strategy and reporting. Collaborates with departments outside of Wildfire Mitigation including regulators, California utilities, and other SDG&E departments to maintain up to date knowledge of industry-related issues in wildfire risk reporting and strategy.

Manage and coordinate activities leading to the successful completion of electric vehicle charger projects within the department. Provide technical assistance for contracts.

Project Support Coordinator (Hybrid) (#23-67230)

The Project Support Coordinator is focused on the administration of projects, document control management, data analysis and data management of Intake, Segment 1-2 Projects from Stage Gate 1 — 6 overlapping multiple departments. The work supported is largely focused on Distribution construction projects at Intake, Segment 1 and 2. This role may support more than 100 projects in the course of a year.

The Strategy and Operations Manager ensures investments are aligned to the highest value initiatives and drives optimization of IT delivery and operations across products and capabilities. Performs a facilitation role across the value stream or enabler (i.e., a group of teams aligned to a particular IT function or set of IT solutions typically represented by a Director’s organization), with responsibilities for investment planning, Lean Portfolio Management, delivery value measurement (for example, customer satisfaction, quality, speed to market, or operating maturity), and driving IT strategic transformation initiatives. Leads efforts to enable the organization with critical future-oriented technology capabilities, practices, and modern engineering ways of working. Responsible for continuous improvement and guiding the organization towards maturity in modern technical practices including a focus on delivering measurable value for business clients. Drives strategic cross-coordination across organizations, collaboratively working to ensure enterprise success in delivering value to stakeholders. Provides financial management expertise to group-level leaders and acts as the primary point of contact for the finance organization. As a key resource manager within the organization, leads teams and individuals to drive measurable results for strategic initiatives.
