As we move into the next decade as an international organization, WCS looks to more directly serve our growing membership in Europe with dedicated on-the-ground support. Within this decade, we are dedicated to action and we seek to include our European peers who are leading the way in fighting climate change and incentivizing a circular economy in our community. We believe that women hold a central role in taking these initiatives to the next phase and want to support women in Europe by planning programming and building a network.

Kicking off our effort is a delegation of WCS board members and volunteers traveling from the US to Brussels to meet with the brightest minds at a closed-door round table event on November 8th. We have invited key stakeholders to sit around the table for an engaging discussion moderated by WCS Chairwoman, Lisa Ann Pinkerton and WCS Europe Events Lead Caroline Trowbridge, based in Copenhagen.

Hosted by Cleantech Group, this event will precede the opening reception of the annual Cleantech Forum – a conference designed to inspire and connect professionals in the green economy. All attendees are invited to the reception free of charge, and we encourage attendees to participate in the Forum on November 9th and 10th with a generous discount, too. Learn more upon registration.
