Senior Global Certification Specialist | First Solar | Perrysburg, OH

Basic Job Functions:

Responsible for ensuring all required module certification-related documentation, audits, and processes are developed and maintained to meet the business needs of the company.

Experience:    

• Minimum 8 years experience with domestic and international certification and testing processes
• Minimum 8 years experience with Document Control principles and Quality Management Systems
• Experience in project/program management a plus
• Experience with statistical/mathematical modeling tools and/or software programming a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or related degree required

Required Skills/Competencies:

• Strong technical writing skills that effectively bridge engineer to executive
• Proven ability to understand and communicate technical content to a general audience both verbally and in writing
• Ability to hold a broad focus while maintaining attention to detail
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Demonstrated self-motivation and aptitude for problem-solving
