Senior Consultant: New Programs and Markets | 2050 Partners | Remote

2050 Partners is seeking to add a bright and highly organized Senior Consultant primarily to provide program management support for our role in a large, new energy efficiency program in California. As a Senior Consultant, you will support 2050 Partners’ responsibilities in this new program, including screening and prioritization of submitted third-party project proposals and the development and execution of 2050 Partners’ internal processes to screen, score, and prioritize them. In addition, your responsibilities may extend to assisting with project coordination and technical and analytical support for other 2050 Partners projects. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service, dedicated to our mission of meeting state, federal, and international carbon mitigation goals, and enthusiastic about growing with our dynamic consulting firm.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Be a Trusted Advisor to our clients with an emphasis on providing pragmatic advice based on defensible data and analysis
  • Serve as day-to-day project lead for 2050 Partners’ role in the new program
  • Manage project team and subcontractor workflows and ensure completion of final work products. Ensure the highest level of quality in all project deliverables, including reports and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with client contract and other program requirements
  • Support the development of the intake process for submitted third-party project proposals including documenting process flows, user journey maps, data field structures, transfer protocols, etc., required by the development and user testing teams
  • Conduct secondary research to support data-driven screening, scoring, and prioritization of submitted third-party project proposals
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal team’s reviews of submitted third-party project proposals
  • Implement and oversee others in project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing, which typically involves activities, such as:
    1. Financial and project milestone forecasting and tracking
    2. Stakeholder communications and relationship management
    3. Client relationship management
    4. Program strategy development and execution
    5. Problem solving
  • Support the development of reports and develop compelling presentations and supporting materials for external presentations to the program’s advisory board and the general public
