Enterprise Architect (Hybrid) (#22-65994)
The Enterprise Architect works with business stakeholders, technology leadership, and other architects to drive holistic technology implementation across Value Streams (i.e., a sets products, solutions, and services that deliver value to the customer) and Enablers (i.e., the activities needed to provide future business functionality, including infrastructure, security, and compliance activities). Relies on continuous feedback, fosters adaptive design and engineering practices, and drives collaboration between programs and teams around a common vision across each architectural domain (functional, application, data, infrastructure).
Develops end-to-end architecture approach, including strategy and vision, guiding principles, and standards, incorporating technology trends and business imperatives into the future state design. Maintains reference models and ensures that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently in order to support the business and IT strategy. Guides solution and domain architects across the organization on industry-leading practices, ensuring IT solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
Business Technology Solutions Advisor (Hybrid) (#23-66636)
Implement IT solutions which address business needs. Provides systems analyses, configuration design, imaging build, and technical support on mobile computing hardware, software and related connectivity for electric and gas operations personnel to ensure efficient work assignment dispatch and completion and enable execution of daily work activities in a safe and reliable manner.
Joint Asset Management Team Lead (Hybrid) (#23-66656)
Acts as the team lead within the Compliance Management group as it pertains to management of third-party attachments or shared use of SDG&E’s infrastructure – Joint Asset Management (JAM). Actively manages all internal and external stakeholders involved in the JAM process, including communication with company representatives, customers, local municipalities, SDG&E operations and internal representatives from legal, customer service and public affairs on the California Telecom Act as it pertains to third party attachments to SDG&E’s infrastructure. Manages communications with Communication Infrastructure Providers (CIPs) attached to our system. Oversight of compliance with and maintenance of joint use contracts, including negotiation of methodology and rates. Responsible for oversight of third-party attachment applications, attachment billing, project/program support to other departments, Joint Utility Communication Form (JUCF) processing, General Order infraction notification processing related to CIP attachments, and providing subject matter expertise regarding telecommunications regulatory changes.
Engineer- I (Hybrid) (#23-66912)
Prepare or assist in the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, standards, studies, cost estimates and the development of sound technical recommendations, in support of projects and tasks managed by others within the department or other departments. Responsible for engineering calculations to solve problems for new facilities and repairs/modifications to existing facilities related to the SDGE electric and gas transmission/distribution system. Works on more complex projects than a lower-level engineer.
