Development Engineer, San Francisco Bay Area, CA/Denver, CO
The Development Engineer will support the Development & Performance Engineering team to develop or acquire a portfolio of large-scale solar photovoltaic (“PV”) and energy storage solutions from project acquisition to the commencement of construction. This multi-faceted role will provide technical support for projects, including project technical due diligence, engineering, optimization, equipment evaluation and production modelling. The role will collaborate with Development, Procurement, and Investment teams to maximize project & company value.

The Development Project Manager will lead and support the development of large-scale renewable projects across the U.S. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development of solar and energy storage projects prior to execution into construction. The position will collaborate with the Strategy & Investments, Engineering, Capital Markets, Procurement, and Construction teams across the full project lifecycle from origination to NTP (notice-to-proceed).

The Development Project Manager will lead and support the development of large-scale renewable projects across the U.S. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of project development for solar and energy storage projects. The position will collaborate with the Strategy & Investment, Power Marketing, Capital Markets and Projects teams during the development phase from origination / M&A to notice-to-proceed.
Director EHSQ and Sustainability, San Francisco Bay Area or Remote
The Director EHSQ and Sustainability role includes management and operation of the company’s Environment, Health & Safety, Quality and Sustainability operations. In this role, you will also be responsible working with third party EPCs and O&M providers for projects in the United States to ensure optimal performance of the company’s solar plants with respect to EHSQ and Sustainability. An additional element of process development will focus on driving processes development and improvements. This position reports to the VP of Operational Excellence.
Senior Analyst/Associate, Capital Markets, San Francisco Bay Area, CA
As part of the Capital Markets team, the Senior Analyst/Associate is responsible for supporting the successful and timely execution of financings for the company. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of transactions, including tax equity, project finance debt, bonds, and corporate debt. As part of collaborative deal teams, the Senior Analyst/Associate will focus on work streams such as modeling and analysis, capital provider due diligence, and deal documentation. This role has the scope to take on more responsibility over time, with the vision that the person ultimately leads financings. We are seeking an Senior Analyst/Associate who is proactive and who identifies and addresses opportunities and challenges. The Environmental & Permitting Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and directing discretionary land use and environmental permitting in support of SB Energy’s development and construction portfolio for utility scale solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. The Environmental & Permitting Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Development & Origination.
Sr. Manager/Director, Modules Procurement, California, Arizona, Remote
The Sr. Manager/Director of Modules Procurement will lead and support the development of large-scale renewable projects across the U.S. This position will report to the VP of Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, vendor qualification, competitive procurement solicitations, contract negotiations and execution. The position will support various other function groups within SB Energy including the Strategy & Investments, Development, Engineering, Capital Markets, and Construction Management.
