Customer Programs Policy Advisor

The Customer Programs Policy Advisor is responsible for high-level planning and provides a key support function for various customer programs activities related to sustainability, resiliency, affordability and accessibility. This position frequently provides guidance and recommendations to the Customer Programs operations, implementation staff and leadership. This includes working with regulators and other external parties on existing and emerging policy issues, assisting with the policy and compliance phases of program administration and preparing regulatory filings and other materials.

Associate Billing Analyst

Ensure timely and accurate customer billing. Review, analyze and ensure the integrity of interval energy consumption data. Communicate with internal and external customers regarding billing complaints, service changes and meter investigations, high use, and other customer billing inquiries. Assist billing employees resolving complex billing situations.

Business / Economics Analyst

Provide analytical support to all areas of Sempra Energy and its business units with regard to electric demand and energy forecasting, load research and analysis, measurement and evaluation, customer end-use analysis, customer load profiles and other operational and regulatory-related issues. Assists in providing analytical support for internal analyses, and helps develop strategies in support of regulatory proceedings, before FERC, the CPUC, the CEC and other regulatory agencies.

Smart Meter Project Specialist

This position serves as a key point of contact in supporting programs or projects for office and field projects. Provides assistance to Operations and Maintenance and will track current SDGE network devices assets by using reports, analytics, databases, and field visits to confirm accuracy of reports and database of SDGE Network Device assets. The position will also assist future Smart Meter Capital Projects by tracking current SDGE Network Device assets as they are being removed from field and replaced by Smart Meter 2.0 devices.

Customer Programs Policy and Support Supervisor

Prepares and develops regulatory filings, data requests, audits and other inquiries. Supervises and coordinates work product of the Policy Advisors. Assists with formulating and socializing program policy. Participates in statewide forums and representing SDG&E in meetings with program stakeholders and is the point person for workshops or presentations. Takes a leadership role in regulatory compliance and provides guidance and recommendations to the Customer Programs leadership team.

Supplier Diversity Manager

Directs all efforts to achieve internal and external goals of the Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE) program designed to meet the utility’s obligations under General Order 156 legislation. Working across the Company and with relevant corporate entities, designs and ensures proactive strategies are in place to achieve goals set forth in compensatory plans of Company officers and others subject to incentive pay compensation. Represents the Company (frequently solely) in explaining the progress and results of DBE programs in meetings with key regulators up to and including California Public Utilities Commissioners as well as members of the California Legislature. Represents the Company tasked with furthering supplier diversity efforts.
