Analyst Commercial Team

Have a passion for developing markets and renewable energy? Come join our innovative renewable energy team working to directly benefit our communities. With a leadership team is based in Honolulu, Hawaii we serve a global development footprint. Your role will work directly with the Commercial Lead reporting to the CEO to support all M&A activities as well as last mile contracting and financing of development assets globally.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include planning, implementing, managing all aspects of commercializing a development asset including but not limited to:

  • Structuring complex global project sales, financing and M&A activity, including transaction structures, valuation matters, and leading negotiations
  • Developing and nurtures culture of proactive project identification with development teams
  • Support a broad range of transactions, from simple project finance to more complex
  • Collect and analyze all financial inputs for transactions by coordinating internal and external resources as applicable to each specific transaction
  • Work with teams to monitor emerging trends to provides input on corporate strategy
  • Document best practices in areas including: due diligence, analytics and other related matters

 

To Be Qualified for This Role, We Will Be Looking For:

  • MBA in Business with a focus on finance is preferred
  • 3+ years in project development & finance
  • Bilingual is beneficial but not required
  • Successful track record working with remote teams

CFO

Have a passion for clean energy and community agriculture? Come join our innovative renewable energy team working to directly benefit our community of farmers. Our leadership team is based in Honolulu, Hawaii and serves a global development footprint.

Your role will work directly with the CEO with report channels through to the Board of Directors and will be focused on meeting the needs of a rapidly growing energy company. Our teams have extensive experience in project finance and large ticket projects and need consummate accounting support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, tax, compliance and support private and institutional financing.

To Be Qualified for This Role, We Will Be Looking For:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
  • 10+ years in financial leadership roles in energy and/or real estate development
  • Bilingual is beneficial but not required
  • Innovative leader in ESG accounting and compliance

  • Strong team building skills with ability to develop staff at remote locations essential.

Commercial Team Lead

Your role will work directly with the CEO to oversee all M&A activities as well as last mile contracting and financing of development assets globally.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include planning, implementing, managing all aspects of commercializing a development asset including but not limited to:

  • Providing leadership and counsel to senior management for complex global project sales, financing and M&A activity, including transaction structures, valuation matters, and leading negotiations
  • Developing and nurtures culture of proactive project identification with development teams
  • Responsible for broad range of transactions, from simple project finance to more complex
  • Managing all financial inputs for transactions by coordinating internal and external resources as applicable to each specific transaction
  • Monitor emerging trends and provides inputs to the overall corporate strategy
  • Develop and document best practices in areas including: forming JV, negotiation tactics, cultural variance, due diligence, and other related matters

 

To Be Qualified for This Role, We Will Be Looking For:

  • MBA in Business with a focus on finance is preferred
  • 10+ years in project development & finance

Family Office CFO

Successful entrepreneur with a track record in energy, agriculture, finance and tech is seeking a Personal CFO to begin to build a family office team. Work is primarily based in Hawai’i, however, remote candidates will be considered, and will allow for a self-directed work schedule.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of family finance and corporate investments
  • Auditing and tracking multiple investments and trust accounts
  • Structuring financing as appropriate within the set risk tolerances
  • Directing research teams reviewing new initiatives and investments
  • Assisting in M&A while directing the set-up of new investment vehicles

 

To Be Qualified for This Role, We Will Be Looking For:

  • 8+ Years’ experience in corporate finance with 2+ years in personal finance preferred
  • A consultative approach with a mentoring skill set working with partners and staff
  • Successful candidates typically hold an advanced degree
  • Bilingual is highly desired
  • Existing permit to work in the United States The Preferred Candidate for This Role Will Have:
  • Advance degree in accounting and/or tax law
  • A comprehension of financing vehicles and tools available in the market
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time

IT and Helpdesk Lead

Have a passion for developing markets and renewable energy? Come join our innovative renewable energy team working to directly benefit our communities. With a leadership team based in Honolulu, Hawaii we serve a global development footprint. Your role will work directly to support our Honolulu and global teams with all technical aspects of running a fast-paced distributed development firm. This role provides solid growth opportunities, eventually transitioning into Director of IT.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include supporting staff with all technical troubleshooting of cloud productivity suites including and not limited to email, conferencing software, Microsoft Office suite, Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android devices. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support global staff with user-side tech issues on mobile devices and MacOs
  • Work directly with technology vendors to maintain internal systems and solicit bids for new

    resources, including cybersecurity of internal and external assets, AR sales tools, and CRM.

  • Develop and nurture culture of proactive technological advancement, staying on top of industry best practices and deploying them across the organization.

 

To Be Qualified for This Role, We Will Be Looking For:

  • 3+ years in IT, preferably within the context of a renewable energy or real estate development firm
  • Experience soliciting bids and evaluating vendors, and managing ongoing vendor relationships
  • Expertise in MacOs, Windows, iOS, and Android
  • Bilingual is beneficial but not required
  • Successful track record working with remote teams The Preferred Candidate for This Role Will Have:
  • Degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent work experience
  • Some experience managing IT professionals
  • Desire to grow into a Director of IT role, leading a dedicated team within the organization
  • Analytical and technical writing skills
  • Ideally based in Hawaii or able to relocate
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time

Your role will work directly with the CEO to expand our service to communities in developing countries without access to electricity, clean water and clean cooking fuel. Your focused will be to open these markets and build local teams to meet this increasingly growing need. Our teams have extensive experience in the technology and financing to realize these projects but need a natural leader to expand our reach.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include planning, implementing, managing and controlling all development related activities for the company. This will include direct responsibility for licensing and permitting in difficult to reach markets; documenting and overseeing the development of training material tailored to serve each community, hiring and developing local teams of project development staff.

To Be Qualified for This Role, We Will Be Looking For:

  • BS in Energy and/or Environmental Sciences
  • 8+ years in energy and/or community development
  • 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Bilingual is beneficial but not required
  • Innovative leader in implementing ESG programs and compliance

 

The Preferred Candidate for This Role Will Have:

  • Strong team building skills with ability to develop staff at remote locations essential

Marketing Communications Lead

Your role will work directly with the CEO to develop and implement global marketing programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include planning, implementing, managing and reporting of all Mar/Com related activities globally for the company. This will include direct responsibility for web, print and offline media, press releases, training staff and partners on corporate messaging, ; documenting and overseeing the development of marketing material tailored to serve each community, hiring and developing local marketing companies to support project development staff.

To Be Qualified for This Role, We Will Be Looking For:

  • BS in Marketing & Communications
  • 5+ years in marketing program development & management
  • Bilingual is beneficial but not required
  • Clear communicator including during high stakes events

 

The Preferred Candidate for This Role Will Have:

  • Experience in corporate marketing and community relations
  • Background in developing and executing programs while tracking for impact
  • Organizational skills to manage 3rd party creative and service teams
  • Clear understanding of variances in cultural nuances and protocol
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
  • A sense of Alōha shared with others
