Performs analysis by reviewing financial documents. Works with entities to update lines of credit. Analyzes customer information to minimize delinquencies and write-offs. Identifies and captures the necessary data for business decisions. Recommends departmental procedures to improve operational efficiencies. Provides analytical support for special projects. May lead small to medium projects.
Acts as the primary interface between SDG&E, the contractor, and its customers. Oversees overhead and underground electric distribution, transmission, and substation contractor construction. Reviews and submits Transmission and/or distribution switching requests. Works with planned outage coordination to identify customers who could be impacted during distribution outages. Works with project managers, Engineering, contractors and others to resolve construction issues during construction. Provides support to ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget.
Supervises and provides direction to a team within Construction Management & Vegetation (CVM) organization that is responsible for identifying and leading business process improvement efforts. Develops and implements strategies via continuous process improvement, IT roadmap strategy and business controls, for CVM processes and activities to ensure that customer and company needs are met. Aids in the design and implementation of tools and system to manage processes, workload, and resources for CVM.
Working primarily independently under limited supervision, performs advanced and highly complex administrative support functions for Human Resources directors.
The Senior Business System Analyst (BSA) is tasked with helping the business meet its objectives and goals by using broad IT and business knowledge to implement IT solutions which address business needs. In a leadership capacity, develops requirements, facilitates/conducts Business Domain testing, and provides training to ensure that the IT solution reflects the functionality necessary to address business goals and objectives. Provides application support to ensure that end-user issues are managed to resolution. Identify, develop and implement effective technology solutions that address complex initiatives.
The Domain Architect provides specialized technical and business functional knowledge to a product or capability group (i.e., a collection of related teams within IT), translating requirements into blueprints for business process, data, infrastructure, applications or platforms to be configured or created. Builds specialized expertise in one or more areas related to business or technology solutions design. As a specialist in a domain (an organized set of components based on technology, business, or organizational similarities, for example, Software Engineering, Application Platforms, Network, Gas Operations, etc.) or sub-domain, facilitates definition of technology or business architecture solutions, owning and maintaining standards, patterns, and reference architectures. Works closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure that design patterns align with Enterprise standards. Acts as an advisor, leveraging insight into technology trends and emerging practices within industry and area of technical specialty to drive product strategy and implementation for group.
Perform a full spectrum of financial planning, analysis, budgeting and accounting responsibilities, including preparation, monitoring and reporting of business unit financial plans. Provide support to business unit operating departments and regions in the areas of financial consulting, process costing, and performance measurement. Provides support for regulatory filings by performing financial support for intervenor data requests and regulatory filings/proceedings (GRC and annual accountability report filings).
