Project Manager – II Emerging Technologies Program – Employment Contract

Manage gas and electric energy efficiency emerging technologies programs. Responsible for developing program scope, business & implementation plan, budget and resource requirements. Meet all policy & regulatory compliance and reporting requirements. Prepare, negotiate, approve and manage contracts for contractors and consultants. Facilitate the transfer and adoption of new technology measures into customer programs. Represent SDG&E on industry stakeholder committees.

IT Strategic Vendor Manager

Responsible for planning and managing strategic sourcing, including all activities within an assigned scope of IT vendors to build and manage relationships and associated products or services to support IT contract and service owners in the areas of obtaining expected contractual obligations and quality products and services. Build, maintain and enhance relationships with strategic (high-value and high-dependency) IT vendors and internal stakeholders (such as IT leadership and end users). Collaborate with company customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing approach that identifies vendor engagement requirements, assess impacts of vendor engagements, consider vendor capabilities, and compare costs. Accountable, with the Manager of IT VMO, for ensuring contract delivery and client satisfaction, which requires a clear understanding and managing of expectations and capabilities, as well as managing the activities of staff assigned to contract analysis functions. Responsible for managing the strategic contract life cycle, which includes changes and modifications and the enforcement of performance clauses, including incentives and remedies. Responsible for strategic vendor portfolio of up to $120, including SAP, ADM, Oracle, Microsoft, wireless, etc. Supports CA utilities, and Sempra Energy Corporate Center.
