The Senior Paralegal – Corporate supports First Solar’s Legal Department in the United States and globally, with a broad range of corporate and securities responsibilities, including subsidiary management, securities filings, corporate record-keeping, database management, and board-related matters, and support of U.S domestic and international commercial and financing transactions of varying complexity.
The Senior Paralegal – Corporate will work closely with other members of the Legal Department, and with Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Human Resources, and Business Development teams, with respect to the preparation, execution, notarization, and legalization of a wide variety of transactional and corporate documentation.
The Senior Paralegal – Corporate will also coordinate invoicing by outside law firms through Legal Tracker, Oracle, or similar software, including the processing of legal invoices, matter creation, billing policy implementation, attorney support, invoice accruals and reporting.
A Manager of Manufacturing Finance provides financial leadership to at least one manufacturing site, collaborates with multiple disciplines, and provides analytical insight to site leadership. The role further supports a range of value-added insights including short term financial planning, ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, management and KPI reporting. The role requires effective business partnering on initiatives to drive lower cost and improve financial performance while delivering on an accurate and reliable monthly close. The role would manage a team of financial analysts.
Leads development efforts to improve cell efficiency by enabling new/modified/improved processes and new/modified/improved functional materials. Establishes laboratory processes and refines processes to demonstrate improved characteristics on a statistical basis.
The disaster recovery (DR) Program Lead is responsible for coordinating, implementing, enhancing, monitoring and reporting on the progress of the enterprise disaster recovery management (DRM) program at First Solar. The objective of this program is to support IT systems’ resilience and timely IT operations recovery, regardless of cause.
The primary goal of the Disaster Recovery Management program is, first and foremost, to prevent impacts and to rapidly restore data center operations and the availability of mission-critical applications and production data. Secondly, this program is meant to support key recovery objectives (RTO/RPO), IT infrastructure damage assessments, crisis communications, coordination with internal/external stake holders and timely recovery. This program support the operations and recovery of business applications and data that are sourced in the company’s data center as well as applications and data hosted by cloud PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS service providers.
Will conduct developmental tests, including sample fabrication and testing, laser beam alignment, and other functions as required. May compile and analyze test data from performed testing and review results with engineering personnel to improve efficiency and stability of solar modules.
Will lead development tests on factory equipment. This will involve material staging and prepping, as well as directing the workflow of other technicians and operators. May assist in troubleshooting of conveyor systems and robots to enable test execution.
