EVgo is looking for a talented and entrepreneurial business development professional to help bring a new charging solution, EVgo eXtend, to market, targeting commercial customers interested in owning charging infrastructure. With federal funds flowing and convenience stores and others rushing to capture them, EVgo eXtend enables EVgo to capture the growing segment of public charging.
EVgo eXtend provides commercial customers with turnkey charging solutions, hardware, site design and construction, and ongoing services, including software, maintenance, and driver support.
Your job will be to help spearhead business development for this new business line, with the support and collaboration of EVgo’s eXtend solutions, marketing, software, hardware, fleet, policy, finance, and various operations teams.
This involves engaging with national customers, including creating a pipeline of potential customers, qualifying inbound eXtend customers, and managing entire sales cycles, as well as helping to iterate on the product offering and business development strategies.
The Fleets Proposal Manager will be responsible for researching, writing, and coordinating the process and management of proposals for B2B commercial responses to requests for information (RFIs), requests for qualifications (RFQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs). Other responsibilities may include developing sole source proposals and public funding grant applications. The Proposal Manager will work closely with the Business Development (BD) team to assess opportunities, facilitate questions/dialogue via 3rd Party procurement portals and project manage the response across relevant EVgo teams including BD, product, operations, marketing, public policy, legal and IT.
The Senior Director, Business Development (BD) Partnerships will be a key leader responsible for managing the team leading EVgo’s fleet, automaker, utility, and other partnerships. The successful candidate will bring experience, energy, and astute management acumen to guiding our team of professionals responsible for generating, negotiating, and closing new revenue opportunities. They will partner with other senior leaders within BD and across the organization to inform strategy, develop and track objectives and key results (OKRs), report on key metrics, and maximize the overall output of the collective team.
