Engineering Manager (Ft. Myers, FL)

Directs and coordinates activities of the Project Engineering Team to ensure quality and consistency in all project and engineering responsibilities and outputs to the greater Construction Division.

Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)

  • Complete all required or directed training, certification, licensing, and other learning and development as assigned.
  • Abide by all Federal, State, and local laws; uphold and maintain accountability to all Company policy.
  • Manage and oversee all assigned Terrasmart engineering projects. Project Engineers report directly to the Engineering Project Manager.
  • Project specific structural calculations, plans, fabrication drawings, quotes, bills of material, and other required information are to be completed in a timely fashion without error.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise team members and contractors in the Engineering Department and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their work.
  • Conduct project post-mortems to identify and report successful and unsuccessful elements, with recommendations for corrections.
  • Identify new processes and procedures to increase efficiency without sacrificing quality.
  • Seek out and develop mutually beneficial relationships with all Terrasmart leadership. Champion the efforts and success of peers. Gain detailed awareness of complementary business strategies and product management goals accordingly.
  • Forge trusted partnerships with external suppliers, partners, and influencers. Demonstrate a nuanced, compliant approach to information exchanges.
  • Build an industry-best engineering team by coalescing members under common goals and vision, managing performance and activities for direct reports, working to ensure a positive operating culture, identify mentorship opportunities for subordinates, and implement development plans for key talent at each level.
  • Answer all field RFI’s.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Director of Sales eBOS (REMOTE ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.A.)

The Director of Sales, eBOS will scale the business by communicating and delivering the differentiated value Terrasmart brings to existing and new customers. The opportunity to build long-term partnerships is unique in the industry given Terrasmart’s vertically integrated products, services, and smart solutions. To capitalize on this, this person will need to develop and execute a business plan that aligns business and customer needs, identify and nurture new customers, create awareness of our value proposition, engage prospects, gain market share, and bolster our position as industry leader. This person will also develop and maintain strong professional relationships across all levels of the customer’s organization and within Terrasmart to maximize sales opportunities and deliver a leading customer experience. Ensures that financial objectives, operational metrics, and customer service levels are met or exceeded. From a leadership perspective, the Director of Business Development will foster an environment where their teams can thrive. They will be responsible for overseeing a team of Sales Managers, and together they will devise and execute an effective sales strategy.

Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties):

  • Creates and executes detailed business plans, focused on territory and account development, in addition to prospect engagement
  • Identifies new business opportunities and creates clear strategies to convert them
  • Establishes strong customer relationships and maintains a positive customer experience throughout the sales and project execution (post-sale) process
  • Develops trust and relationships with customers/prospects and recommends appropriate solutions based on their needs
  • Identifies trends and customer needs to build short, medium, and long-term sales pipelines that align with sales targets
  • Coordinates the information flow around sales activities, provides forecasts and market intelligence to Marketing and Sales
    teams
  • Builds market intelligence by studying the market to understand drivers, geographies, and price levels; understand technology and market developments; analyze competitors and their business values, differentiation, and market approach; share input with Marketing and Product teams to support development and positioning of relevant, profitable offerings

Fleet Manager (Selkirk, NY)

The Fleet Manager oversees the safe and economical operation, distribution, acquisition, and maintenance of the company’s vehicle and heavy equipment fleet. The incumbent ensures all DOT compliance, develops and implements preventative maintenance programs, and maintains strategic vendor and service provider relationships.

Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)

  • Complete all required or directed training, certification, licensing, and other learning and development as assigned.
  • Abide by all Federal, State, and local laws; uphold and maintain accountability to all Company policy.
  • Track, order, disseminate, and ensure all vehicles have up to date registration, insurance, and environmental inspection documentation on board as well as electronic file.
  • Develop, implement, and track for completion all short and long term maintenance plans, manufacturers recommended preventative and periodic maintenance, according to schedule.
  • Track all warranty expirations, warranty work, recalls, and other safety information by vehicle to limit unplanned maintenance.
  • Provide reports to management on budgeting, maintenance schedules, fleet depreciation, condition, and expected lifecycle to properly anticipate annual capital expense requests, and to build the Fleet Replacement Plan, without excess inventory.
  • Assist the Safety Team in monitoring vehicle activity to identify unsafe driver practices, excess idle time, unplanned maintenance or repair, or excessive wear.
  • Compile all daily vehicle and equipment inspection forms, 4-corner pictures, and other equipment audits, identify and resolve safety sensitive findings, maintain all daily inspection and photo records by vehicle electronically.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously evaluate vendor relationships and other service contracts for reliability, quality, and fiduciary effectiveness, with special emphasis on remote tire, oil, towing, and minor maintenance services. Recommend change where necessary, working with Legal on contract requirements.
  • Coordinates with insurance providers on reimbursement and coverage regarding repairs for both at-fault and not at-fault accidents related to company vehicles and equipment.
  • Sources repairs, parts, and materials in the most economical manner, partnering with Facility Manager using in-house technicians where available.
  • Periodically spot checks assigned vehicles and equipment for compliance with company policy.
  • All other duties as assigned.
