Electric Regional Operations Compliance Advisor (Hybrid) (#23-63353)
Advisor to Electrical Regional Operations Construction and Operations (C&O) for all compliance related activities including facility, office and field related activities within the SDG&E service territory. Primary areas of compliance management include adhering to all mandated CPUC general orders (corrective maintenance, QA/QC, storm process), DOT (DVIR and BIT) inspections, recordkeeping, and requirements, SDG&E Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policy and procedures, ESCMP management, Permits Coordination with (Environmental, Traffic Control, Easements, Right of Way, CHP, Cal-Trans), records retention, and Sempra Energy required employee compliance training. This position will act as primary district Compliance Advisor for all internal and external inspections including CPUC, Cal-OSHA, EH&S, and SDG&E Audit Services. The Compliance Advisor will act as liaison to internal work groups (Compliance Management, Program Management, Skills Training Center, Technology Solutions and Reliability, Service Dispatch, ARSO, Distribution Operations, Land Services, Legal, Fleet, Kearny (TCM and Pet Lab), Construction Services, Project Management, Safety and Environmental, GIS, etc.) to develop process improvements, obtain resolution of compliance related activities and corrective actions, as well as initiate interdepartmental efforts and projects while independently managing several concurrent projects, assignments and activities. The ERO Compliance Advisor is the resident expert on electric distribution compliance at the districts.
Principal Product Owner – Cloud Platform (Hybrid) (#23-63287)
The Principal Product Owner for Cloud Platform Engineering & Operations Team is an expert member of an agile team demonstrating strong Product Ownership practices as a leader in the organization. They are primarily responsible for defining user stories [i.e., a short description of a unit of work to be delivered within an agile sprint, detailing the desired system or software functionality written in the user’s language] and owning the prioritization of the backlog of user stories based on value for the customer. Has frequent customer-facing interactions to draft objectives and strategies and drive innovation through products or services. As a representative of the delivery team, navigates increasingly complex IT and Business environments with more cross-team or external dependencies [i.e., reliance and interrelatedness with other systems, applications, platforms, and workstreams which result in a more challenging product to manage due to the additional risk], including people, process and technology, and stakeholder interest for a more complex product or capability. They own the team’s prioritization of work and continuously drives to maximize business value within a product or capability, ensuring the team focuses on a mix of net new development, improvement, support, and innovation. Mentors other Product Owners, coaching them in strong product ownership practices.
Sr. Domain Engineer – Cloud Network (can be filled at higher level) (Hybrid) (#22-65466)
The Senior Domain Engineer – Enterprise Network Architecture and Engineering manages provisioning and configuration, ensuring the reliability of one or more systems, platforms or networks. Builds, runs, and maintains aspects of a critical IT service, making it available on a self-service basis to agile product teams. Works both collaboratively and independently within a team, drawing on their advanced knowledge of a specialist area in infrastructure, security or operations. Predicts and manages interdependencies and risks related to area of expertise and contributes to success of complex initiatives to develop technology and systems.
Works with Contractors through the external vendor manager directly or their back-office support for any assigned work, to lead status meetings with external vendor manager to review progress and quality of assigned work. Assists as needed with providing company protocols, scope of work, and contract adjustments where valid and approved by company.
Major Projects Specialist II (Hybrid) (#23-66846)
Independently manage small-scale department projects. Primary support and co-lead role in organizing and controlling large-scale project activities under the direction of a Project Manager or Business Manager. Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team. Keep Project Managers or Business Manager informed about project status and issues that may impact progress or relations.
Customer Programs Specialist I (Hybrid) (#23-66760)
Responsible for the administration of various customer programs that target residential or non-residential customers in the SDG&E service area, as well as programs that service the entire state of California, as it relates to overall program success. Customer Programs may be administered directly by SDG&E or through a contractor. May assist in budget development and is responsible for reporting and monitoring program performance.
