Sales Training & Enablement Lead

At SPAN, we are building products that enable the rapid adoption of renewable energy like home solar, batteries, and electric vehicles. We’ve developed breakthrough products for residential customers, have seen strong initial market traction, and are looking to rapidly grow revenue by expanding our Sales team. SPAN is seeking a Sales Training and Enablement Lead to onboard and enable sales teams within our Partners’ organizations to confidently and competently sell SPAN. They will be responsible for building and delivering dedicated sales trainings and programs for salespeople selling SPAN. This person will be responsible for making our partners and company successful, supporting the achievement of Span’s revenue target. As our company scales, they will be expected to swiftly take on additional responsibility as an early member of our growing Sales team.

In this role, you will:

  • Create, deliver and facilitate training for our partners
  • Onboard new partners, going beyond training to ensure their sales organizations are set up to sell SPAN
  • Develop repeatable and scalable programs with a focus on engaging trainings that result in adoption and performance improvement
  • Track and measure the impact of enablement programs and trainings over time
  • Socialize and increase awareness of SPAN sales tools, resources and trainings among partners
  • Identify and address knowledge and skill gaps across partners and focus learning activities to drive improvement
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of our products, customers, competitive landscape and existing offerings
  • Customize trainings to consider differences in selling approaches and communication styles across all sales channels

Salesforce Administrator & Architect

At SPAN, we are building products that enable the rapid adoption of renewable energy like home solar, batteries, and electric vehicles. The SPAN Smart Panel replaces the standard electrical panel to become the center for connected power in the home, providing revolutionary insights and home energy controls through the SPAN mobile app.

Given our strong commercial traction we are rapidly scaling our sales team, and are looking for a smart, motivated, and experienced CRM Admin & Architect. As an early member of the SPAN Sales Ops team, you will have the opportunity to architect our Salesforce CRM from the ground up, enabling simple processes and productivity for our sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and administer SPAN’s Salesforce system, creating the right balance of speed, scalability, and simplicity
  • Build out and enhance existing sales processes for our B2B2C and Direct-to-consumer sales team members
  • Architect data structures for simple, intuitive, and actionable reporting in concert with our Sales Analyst
  • Collaborate with the sales team to determine enhancements and improvements as needed
  • Develop new functionality as SPAN expands into new channels and launches new products
  • Create integrations with other software systems within SPAN as well as implement new ones
  • Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products, upgrading and configuring where necessary. Manage roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
  • Coordinate sales and operations processes with our operations analyst

Sales Analytics Manager

Given our strong commercial traction we are rapidly scaling our sales team, and are looking for a Sales Analytics Manager to bring real-time insights into the operation of our business, and help us as we make data-driven decisions. As an early member of our Sales Operations team, you will shape SPAN’s growth as we enable clean energy adoption across the country, providing insights and recommendations to our sales leadership team, CRO, and CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own sales reporting for SPAN, including dashboards and analysis used on a daily and weekly basis to inform sales leadership and sales representatives on sales outcomes and activities

  • Create ongoing and ad-hoc analysis to inform key strategic decisions across the business, including finance, sales, and operations

  • Run SPAN’s forecasting process, delivering accurate sales forecasts in partnership with leaders of each of our sales channels

  • Fully own SPAN’s data collection, processing, and reporting, ensuring accuracy of data used to make critical decisions

  • Create reports for inbound lead metrics and inbound lead qualification processes

  • Collect, input, and monitor data related to SPAN’s sales and partner activities

  • Conduct market research and gather data to help inform sales strategy, prospecting and marketing activities
