Project Manager II (#22-63558)

Manages and directs large-scale, major projects within the department or business unit. Responsible for the development of work scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. Prepare, negotiate and approve contracts for contractors or consultants.
May provide direction to a small group of direct reports.

Procurement Project Manager (#22-63178)

Manages and coordinates the full cycle of all contracting activities in support of medium to large-scale, medium to high complexity and risk, multi-year capital or Operations & Maintenance (O&M) projects of up to $300M with minimal support from Portfolio Manager. Leads negotiations of medium to high complexity, medium to high risk agreements, oversees all stages of strategic and tactical procurement, contract oversight & management, review and execution. Develops and executes customized project procurement plan(s) and strategies for each project and coordinates activities with procurement and project personnel.

Advanced Clean Technology Development Manager (#22-64001)

Leads SDG&E’s advanced clean technology development programs, policy and projects. Develops, refines, communicates and ensures commitment to a common advanced clean technology strategy across SDG&E. Acts as a representative of the company for SDG&E’s advanced clean technology across local, state, and federal domains.

Wildfire Mitigation Project Coordinator (#21-60828)

Coordinates information, gathers data, and develops responses related to regulatory data requests for the Wildfire Mitigation effort. Schedules and coordinates regular review of policies and procedures surrounding the Wildfire Mitigation Plan. Schedules and confirms all ESCMP requirements for the department. Coordinates the review of the Business Resumption Plan for the department. Serves as a responder when the EOC is activated.

Energy Administrator (#22-63791)

Responsible for a broad range of policy and implementation issues related to CAISO, CPUC and associated policy and strategic decisions. The position has a specific focus on supporting SDG&Es compliance with CPUC’s resource adequacy requirements by managing and optimizing SDG&E’s generation and contracts portfolio in collaboration with the Electric and Fuel Procurement’s Energy Supply and Dispatch. Manage counterparty relationships and provides support for contract disputes and assists in the briefing of senior management on contract-related issues. Support the monitoring and tracking of CAISO/CPUC market policy and procurement related initiatives and revisions to tariffs and operating procedures, as well as implementing strategic decisions and interfacing with CAISO and the CPUC. Prepare testimony and comments to support procurement-related proceedings and initiatives.

Account Executive (#22-63413)

Manages the relationship with large commercial and industrial customers, offering energy solutions and value-added services in the form of energy efficiency programs, rate options, new technologies and new programs. Acts as a single point of contact to ensure customers are informed and comply with all applicable service options, tariffs and rules. Manages all customer’s operational service-related demands, and also achieves energy efficiency, added load and customer satisfaction goals.

Workload Management and Emergency Response Supervisor (#22-62995)

Provides functional leadership in managing the multi-discipline planned, same day, compliance, and emergency work for SDG&E’s operations teams. Responsible for actualizing the world-class-dispatching center vision through strategy, program, and process work with stakeholders. Work flows through this group from more than over 10 unique disciplines. This leader must drive cross departmental innovation, influence and compromise, to achieve company results and zero incidents while managing employee and stakeholder engagement. Oversees quality and internal resourcing to ensure the right work can be done at the right level at the right time. Demonstrates critical thinking in all facets of workload management and emergency response, strong focus on safety, compliance management, client partnership and data analysis to drive operational success, improvements, and mitigate risk to our field employees, company facilities, the public and company.

Construction Operations Manager (#21-61422)

Oversee construction activities and resources responsible for the construction of utility infrastructure and related facilities, performed mainly by contracted vendors. Manage internal staff and ensures budget compliance in accordance with project plans and documents. Oversee gas or electric construction activities to ensure that construction standards, safety regulations, company policies/procedures, environmental requirements, and State/Federal regulations are met.

Senior Customer Data Analyst (#22-63468)

This specialized position provides a range of customer analytics support for the company, conducting complex analytics on customer information. Using data analytics as the core, responsible for supporting business customers and how they utilize our services. It includes examining, accessing, and evaluating data from internal databases, by using SAP systems, SQL, and Power BI. Subject areas include critical business customers, SAP billing and credit, customer experience, and business analytics. Along with creating data results this position will also be responsible for storytelling (i.e., communicating and informing conclusions and recommendations) based on customer data and outcomes of the analytics. Other roles/duties will include leading internal team reporting and metrics supporting customers during Public Safety Power Shutoffs or other emergency situations such as customer outages or EOC activations.

Product Owner Team Lead (#22-63050)

The Product Owner Team Lead is a member of an agile team, primarily responsible for defining user stories [i.e., a short description of a unit of work to be delivered within an agile sprint, detailing the desired system or software functionality written in the user’s language] and prioritizing backlog of user stories based on value for customer. Has frequent customer-facing interactions to draft objectives and strategies and drive innovation through products or services.

As a team lead and representative of the delivery team, navigates increasingly complex IT and Business environments with more cross-team or external dependencies [i.e., reliance and interrelatedness with other systems, applications, platforms, and workstreams which result in a more challenging product to manage due to the additional risk], including people, process and technology, and stakeholder interest for a more complex product or capability. They maximize business value within a product or capability, ensuring the team focuses on a mix of net new development, improvement, support, and innovation.

As a supervisor, provides oversight to members of agile teams, helping to ensure that agile teams are prioritizing work effectively, and managing their delivery sprints to meet expectations.

Distribution Policy Manager (#22-63318)

Responsible for developing and managing SDG&E’s policy and strategy for Distributed Energy Resources (DER). Represents SDG&E in regulatory and/or legislative proceedings at the CPUC, CEC, FERC, CA Legislature, DOE, local government, etc. Consults and collaborates with subject matter experts, including business, financial, and operational groups on strategy and to ensure policy alignment and consistency across SDG&E business units. Manage or partner with Procurement on SDG&E’s solicitations (e.g., RFOs/RFP) for DER.
