Associate General Counsel

The Associate General Counsel will build and lead Inspiration’s legal function, including providing transaction and documentation support, selecting and overseeing specialist outside counsel, and designing and implementing the company’s legal strategy, and assisting with managing the Board of Directors. You will also assume responsibility for employee legal matters, entity formation and maintenance, intellectual property, privacy and data management, etc. Working closely with the executive team and functional leaders, you will play a critical role supporting the growth of the company into new segments, businesses and partnerships.

Reporting to the CEO, this role requires exceptional drive, creativity, leadership, legal acumen, and a “no task too small” attitude. The goal of this position is to build out a robust and nimble internal legal function to efficiently process and manage transactions with customers, vendors, and financial counterparties. This role has the opportunity to grow and advance into a General Counsel position.

Vice President, Risk

The Vice President, Risk will measure, monitor, and mitigate Inspiration’s risk primarily related to customer credit and the growing portfolio of EV assets.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this key role will be accountable for designing, developing, and implementing a risk framework and risk management policies, processes, and systems throughout the customer and asset life cycles as well as working with colleagues and third-party partners to proactively assess, address, and mitigate such risks. The Vice President, Risk will provide an independent perspective and assessment of risk (both in aggregate and individually) to the Executive Team, Investment Committee, and, occasionally, to the Board.

The Vice President, Risk must work collaboratively with Inspiration’s business lines, including its Leadership and Sales organization, to mitigate roadblocks, solve problems, and enhance the customer experience whenever possible. They will foster a growth mindset that pursues and rewards prudent risk-taking, innovation, and creativity while still grounded in risk/reward and remaining vigilant of situations posing excessive and unprotected risk to the company.
