The Group Product Manager is primarily responsible for defining the roadmap, vision, and prioritization of the Smart Meter 2.0 product portfolio based on value for the customer. Performs these functions in context of the Smart Meter 2.0 Program. Takes full responsibility for the IT portion of the Smart Meter 2.0 Program consisting of workstreams (both scrum and non-scrum teams) and their products with authority to direct the product group work. Uses understanding of project management, the market, customer needs and requirements, and the products to inform direction.
Interacts frequently with customers, drafting objectives and strategies and driving innovation through products or services. Provides oversight to the maintenance and operations of products within their group, ensuring adherence to relevant safety & compliance, regulatory, cybersecurity and legal standards. Provides management and oversight of their respective Product Owners as it relates to people development, career coaching, and performance feedback responsibilities.
Manages the relationship with the Company’s largest and more complex federal customers such as the Department of Navy, along with Customs & Border Protection, General Services Administration (GSA), The US Coast Guard, and others as assigned. Is strategically focused and guides the customer in the development of integrated energy solutions, value-added services in the form of energy efficiency programs, rate options, and new technologies. Acts as a single point of contact for large commercial customers to ensure they are informed and comply with all applicable service options, tariffs and rules. Manages all customers’ operational service-related demands, and also achieves energy efficiency, added load and customer satisfaction goals. Provides customer market intelligence analysis to complex regulatory proceedings on proposed tariff changes.
Manages compliance and regulatory strategy for Customer Field Operations (CFO). Responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program including risk assessments, gap analysis and end-to-end compliance project management. Leads strategic and functional Regulatory efforts in large scale filings such as, but not limited to, SMAP, RAMP, GRC and RSAR. Provides regulatory and compliance support and coordination as necessary to Gas Operations, Electric Regional Operations and Customer Services.
May provide direction to a small group of direct reports.
The Domain Engineer II provisions, configures, and ensures reliability of a system, platform or network. Builds, runs, and maintains aspects of an IT service, assisting in making it available on a self-service basis to agile product teams. Works collaboratively and independently within a team, as a specialist in infrastructure, security or IT operations.
Provides aviation support for daily flight operations, including flight scheduling, flight monitoring, and dispatching.
Leads the development, implementation and management of comprehensive Emergency Management Training & Exercise program strategies to effectively test emergency plans and achieve efficient and effective restoration of operations during emergencies. Ensures compliance with and adequate documentation of all applicable training and exercise regulatory and policy requirements. Seeks out opportunities to leverage existing systems or technologies for use in emergency training, exercises, and preparedness. Interfaces regularly with senior management to provide updates on preparedness and critical events. Provides corporate emergency preparedness overviews, including tours of the Emergency Operations Centers, to regulators, key customers or other dignitaries.
SDG&E seeks an outstanding and highly experienced attorney to join the Commercial Law Department in the General Counsel’s Office at SDG&E’s headquarters in San Diego. This attorney will provide legal services to support a wide range of commercial and corporate activities of the company. This includes drafting and negotiation of contracts for large construction projects, procurement of major equipment, energy transactions (renewables, energy storage, electric vehicle infrastructure, emerging energy technologies), and legal counseling on a wide range of legal topics to all SDG&E business units. This attorney will also manage outside counsel as needed.
