Manage the fleet of energy store facilities to include the day to day operations and production activities. Lead a team of employees that support the operation and production activities at each of these sites including oversite on the long-term service contracts.
Manage and oversee all plant engineering functions to assure the Palomar and Ramco facilities operate and maximum performance and profitability. Provide analytical services to the Operations Maintenance Managers, and Compliance Administrator.
Responsible for the operation and onsite support of remotely located Utility Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems. This position will ensure that the facilities are operating safely and within environmental and reliability compliance guidelines.
Prepare or assist in the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, standards, studies, cost estimates and the development of sound technical recommendations, in support of projects and tasks managed by others within the department or other departments. Responsible for engineering calculations to solve problems for new facilities and repairs/modifications to existing facilities related to the SDGE electric and gas transmission/distribution system. Works on more complex projects than a lower-level engineer.
Responsible for contract management of Long-Term Service Agreements during commercial operation and administration over the specified term of the contract.

The Capability Owner Team Lead is a member of a capability team, primarily responsible for the delivery of specific services that enable the organization. Maintains a delivery roadmap of work and services, prioritizing backlog of work based on value to enterprise and innovate strategic direction. Facilitates frequent stakeholder-facing interactions to draft objectives and strategies, drives innovation through services, and provides channels for users to request and receive standard services. Develops and maintains formal procedures for capability management for greater consistency and increased productivity.
As the team lead and primary enterprise point of contact for the team, navigates increasingly complex stakeholder interests with broader cross-team considerations or business implications, drives strategic innovation direction, service enhancements and improvements. Analyzes capability performance through statistical and reporting methods to ensure that all agreed services are being delivered, satisfaction levels and expectations are met, and team focuses on innovation. Prioritizes team’s work, defining the roadmap for their capability.
Works with contractors through the external vendor manager directly or their back-office support for any assigned work, to lead status meetings with external vendor management to review progress and quality of assigned work. Assists as needed with providing company protocols, scope of work, and contract adjustments where valid and approved by company.
The Senior Domain Architect -Voice works closely with executive leadership to define the technology strategy for their domain(s). The role for this position is to provide the strategy for our telephony systems, both Enterprise and Contact Centers. Telephony systems are multi-vendor and tightly integrated to meet the business demands and mandated requirements. Provides deep expertise in multiple areas related to the design of technology systems and tools. Provides specialized technical and business functional knowledge to product and capability groups (i.e., a collection of related teams within IT). Translates requirements into blueprints for complex business processes, data, infrastructure, applications or platforms to be configured or created. As the expert in domain(s), is accountable for the overall performance, standards, and direction of assigned domain(s). A domain is an organized set of components based on technology, business, or organizational similarities (e.g., Software Engineering, Applications, Platforms, Network, Gas Operations, etc.). Leads definition of technology or business architecture solutions, driving vision for technology in area of responsibility. Works closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure that the design patterns align with Enterprise standards. Provides technical thought leadership, applying emerging technology trends and practices within the industry to drive strategy and implementation. Researches, analyzes, designs, proposes, delivers and refines IT architecture solutions that are appropriate for the business and IT strategies. Ensures designs are optimized for scalability and flexible future use, driving the adoption of a microservices-enabled architecture.
Works within the Supply Management organization to maximize the value that is delivered using a category management framework including contract oversight and execution. Collaborates with internal stakeholders, supply chain teams, and suppliers to use continuous improvement techniques to improve internal Business Unit and supply chain outcomes. This role is critical to supporting Supply Management as a value-adding partner to the business by providing solutions to business and operational supply chain challenges, improving processes to reduce total costs of ownership, and maintaining a strategic approach to procurement and supply management.
This position supports high profile program portfolios for SDG&E in the Electric System Hardening group. These programs have substantial impact on our customers, business practices, and company goals. This individual in this role may provide leadership and direction for complex or major engineering projects and/or studies.
