IT Customer Support – Journey | The Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) | Union Gap, WA
The Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an IT Customer Support – Journey position. This position is located in our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
IT customer service representatives are skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical issues. They engage with customers through various communication channels, such as phone, email, or chat, to understand the problem and guide them through troubleshooting steps.
In this role, you will use your knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware to identify the root cause of problems and provide effective solutions with the ultimate goal of ensuring customer satisfaction. As an IT Customer Support Representative, you will be dedicated to providing a positive experience, going the extra mile to resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently, and you will celebrate successful resolutions and strive for high customer ratings, building strong relationships and loyalty.

Program Mission: The Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) is the central provider of strategic and tactical support for the use of Information Technology (IT) within Ecology. The mission of ITSO is to create and support useful technology services that adapt for the future and support Ecology’s mission.
Tele-work options for this position: This position is expected to work in the office 3 days per week and will be eligible for up to a 40% tele-work schedule.
