The Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill two IT Business Analyst – Journey (Two Positions) positions.
This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA.
This position is located in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in Shoreline, WA.
This position is located in our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA.
This position is located in our Eastern Region Office (ERO) in Spokane, WA.
This position is located in our Richland Field Office (RFO) in Richland, WA.
Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
Please Note: If the final location of this position is determined to be in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in Shoreline, WA. there will be an additional 5% pay increase due to its location in King County. In this instance the salary range will be $6,938 – $9,331 per month.
As an IT Business Analyst at Ecology, you will be responsible for analyzing existing processes and tools and making recommendations for process improvements or system solutions. As part of the central IT office, you will work with all agency Programs and Offices to ensure IT solutions meet the needs of our various units to increase efficiency, while meeting business and legislative requirements. In this role, it is likely you will work as part of large project teams, as well as individual work efforts. You will get exposure to a variety of systems on various platforms.

Program Mission: The Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) is the central provider of strategic and tactical support for the use of Information Technology (IT) within Ecology. The mission of ITSO is to create and support useful technology services that adapt for the future and support Ecology’s mission. The ITSO Program Management Office unit provides consulting and services in the areas of enterprise project management, business analysis and organizational change
Tele-work options for this position: This position will be eligible for up to a 90% tele-work schedule.
