OGWDW is responsible for establishing and implementing all efforts within the Agency to protect the public from contaminants found in source waters or distribution systems and thought to be harmful to human health. Individuals selected will 1) Implement, administer, evaluate and coordinate a water media program to ensure compliance with environmental requirements. 2) Serve as a programmatic specialist on drinking water quality and/or implementation programs. 3) Review and implement environmental technical standards, guidelines, policies, and formal regulations. And 4) Serve as a Project Officer for water program grants, and/or interagency/cooperative
