Staff Embedded Firmware Engineer – Austin, TX
As a Staff Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will join a team focused on developing the software that powers our market leading energy products. You will work to improve the current functions and develop new approaches that will continue our advancing technology.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing embedded software for real-time operation and control.
- Simulating new algorithms for autonomous microgrid power flow management.
- Developing unit and system test software.
- Validating algorithms using system simulation tools.
- Working with hardware engineers to test and troubleshoot prototype designs.
- Firmware testing.
- Coach/train other technical employees
Staff Firmware Test Engineer – Austin, TX
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute test strategies & plans to assure firmware functions per engineering requirements and design specifications
- Contribute to system design from DVT and LTR testing perspective – incorporating system resource tracking, logging, test suites support
- Collaborate with the hardware and firmware engineers to assure hardware and firmware are designed for test
- Design and implement firmware components to support testing (CLI, logging etc)
- Design necessary test hardware components (cables, fixtures) and collaborate with hardware team on building these
- Design and implement automated test systems enabling continuous integration of the firmware development
- Confer with other Quality Assurance teams, Development and Product Management to participate in project planning and ensure the effective testing of Enphase’s products within design constraints
- Use test automation, power meters, oscilloscopes, DC supplies and other lab test equipment to ensure complete functional, efficiency, and safety testing coverage.
- Coach and train members of technical staff on test equipment, procedures, and automation software to ensure
- Troubleshoot the system failures encountered during DVT and analyze root cause for the failures.
- Work with development team to aid fixing the failures encountered during system DVT.
- Maintain documentation of test plan and test reports
- Read system DVT plan and files as well as system design documents to aid troubleshooting during system DVT.
- Database management for test results, test data analysis either manually or using python-based data analysis script (preferred).

Staff PCB Hardware Development Electrical Engineer – Austin, TX
The Enphase System Control Innovation (SCI) team in the office of the CTO is responsible for defining, prototyping, and supporting the next generation system control solutions for Enphase products. The team is an integrated, multi-disciplinary group that is fast-moving and looking for motivated individuals that can contribute and collaborate closely with the team to deliver innovative solutions. As a member of the SCI team, you will solve some of the most exciting problems in the distributed energy space and help shape the direction of our products.
The Enphase SCI team is seeking a Staff PCB Hardware Development Electrical Engineer to develop, integrate, and validate electronic hardware for next generation system control products and improve current designs.
Responsibilities include:
- Specification, design, schematic capture, layout supervision, prototyping, and debug of complex circuits and PCBs including high-speed digital processing and communications, switching power supply, and high voltage sensing and control subsystems
- Apply circuit simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and prototype testing to ensure hardware designs meet functionality and performance requirements
- Support rapid prototyping and manufacturing of hardware circuits and PCBs for prototype products
- Hands-on bring up of hardware circuits, PCBs, and energy system hardware (relays, power meters, power converters, communications devices, etc.)
- Optimize product solutions with firmware/hardware control co-design

You will educate partners on the Enphase technology and business propositions, enabling them to sell our solutions to achieve mutually beneficial revenue and profit goals. You will work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
As an Account Representative, you will be working from the office or home office. You will be in contact with your accounts by phone, making sure they get all the information they need to be successful with Enphase products. You will be closely working together with the Strategic Account Manager team who support customers in the field and report directly to the Sales Director.

Field Application Engineer – Austria, EU
We are seeking a Field Application Engineer based in West Austria to be a member of our technical sales team responsible for pre-sales technical support, as well as on-site installation and commissioning of new products, such as our Encharge battery technology.
This specific role will have an emphasis on energy management solutions. Activities will be focused on developing and supporting our integrations with technologies such as heat pumps, EV charging point (wallboxes) and electric water heating products.
Our German office is in Freiburg in Breisgau. This role will be home office based, with customer and site visits two to three days per week and occasional visits to Freiburg and other Enphase locations to meet with colleagues.

The Distribution Account Manager is the primary point of sales contact and business development for named distribution partners, with special emphasis on the electrical distribution channel.
