Account Executive JD

Bold Reuse is a full-service reuse platform that eliminates single-use trash. We’ve already eliminated 1 million items of plastic packaging from the landfill. Our mission is to make the circular economy a reality for any business that wants to reduce its packaging waste.

We’re embarking on the next phase of our story – expanding our footprint across the PNW region, and to new markets across the US. We’re looking for an account executive with the ambition and passion to make a difference and reduce plastic waste.  

The Account Executive crafts, identifies and closes sales for Bold Reuse within the Pacific Northwest (specifically Seattle and Portland Markets). As the individual who represents Bold Reuse and drives the revenue, we are looking for a self-starting closer who can build a large pipeline of business within a short period of time, and work with existing clients as well as new customer opportunities.

You Will

  • Actively pursue, develop and close new enterprise accounts (FoodService, Hospitality, Grocery, Non-Comm) while achieving goals and quotas
  • Develop strategic plans for penetrating and closing accounts
  • Build relationships with key decision makers at customers across their Sustainability, Marketing, Operations and Procurement teams
  • Project manage complex sales with your key internal partners.
  • Define the overall approach for specific territories, regions, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services
  • Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of accounts and provide reports as needed
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies
  • Build, maintain, and share a high level of competitor and segment knowledge in terms of product offerings, pricing, discounts and promotions, volume and trade spend, forecasting, price modeling, P&L understanding, and contract development
  • Update CRM and provide regular reports to senior leadership.

You Have

  • 5-7 years’ experience selling at the executive level to enterprise corporations (Sales Experience with Top 100 Foodservice National Accounts or large Event Venues is a preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in growing business volume
  • Experience in complex sales environments, demonstrating success in sales that have a major impact on our business, many stakeholders and longer sales cycles (6+ months)
  • An ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous experience using systems for tracking sales, determining ROI, and developing data-driven strategies
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills: negotiation, deal creation and presentation skills
  • A structured and organized problem solver, who can drive projects to completion with minimal direction and high attention to detail
  • High energy and stamina, changing the world takes grit!
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker, and strategist

Customer Success Manager

We’re embarking on the next phase of our story – expanding our footprint across the PNW region, and to new markets across the US. We’re looking for a highly-organized, multi-tasking, project-owning customer success manager with the ambition and passion to make a difference and reduce plastic waste.   Your ability to keep a customer motivated, on track, and being a customer advocate, is essential to your success. You bring high energy, and are motivated to make your customers successful, and take time to understand their objectives, goals and requirements for partnering with Bold Reuse. You are organized and can juggle multiple customers and/or projects at once. You execute well under pressure and have a passion for life and hard work.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the customer on-boarding process from the time the sales closes through successful customer launch.
  • Keep our project management tools up to date so customer journeys are up to date, and customer contacts and pertinent customer info is accurate.
  • Contribute to certain team and/or company initiatives, such as process or system improvements, best practices development, team training etc
  • Leads and implements a portfolio of strategic focused projects and customers. Directs cross-functional work to ensure projects are on pace, budget, and deliver desired outcomes.  
  • Coordinates communication and project tracking to ensure a streamlined approach with cross-functional teams and stakeholders as it relates to all projects and initiatives.  
  • Regularly reports on status and effectiveness of mission strategies and initiatives. 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional groups to create and document standardized program and best practices models  that are clear, consistent and achieve program objectives.  
  • Identifies challenges in program implementation and maintenance. Works cross-functionally with project teams and  key leaders to find solutions.  
  • Drives program knowledge expertise at across the organization and acts as go-to program expert for questions. 
  • Trains and coaches leadership teams at all locations on program requirements. Assists in all staff level training as  needed.  
  • Prepares and delivers professional presentations to broad audiences across the company. 
  •  Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.

  1. 3-5 years of experience in project management and/or customer success.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Experience with project management.

Benefits:

Competitive salary ($60,000 to $65,000, depending on experience) plus benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, Oregon Saves Roth IRA, Oregon paid sick leave, paid holidays and paid time off.
