Associate | Estuary Capital Partners | Reno,  NV

Estuary is seeking an Associate based in Reno who will contribute to all aspects of conceptualizing, developing, financing, and constructing renewable energy and infrastructure assets and building the company for the next stage of growth.

The Role:

The Associate will:

  • Coordinate and manage the numerous diverse work streams comprising our projects and transactions.

  • Act as a primary contact with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Own project details across a wide range of disciplines.  A strong project management orientation is required:  ownership of schedules, prioritization of activities, managing interdependencies and conflicts, identifying and addressing risks to project outcomes, documentation of meetings and status.

  • Create presentations and marketing materials for partners and investors.

  • Research markets, regulations, and technologies to generate and evaluate opportunities.

  • Coordinate procurement processes for construction, equipment, and other services.

  • Coordinate all aspects of acquisition, divestiture, partnership, and financing transactions.

  • Participate in building functionality, facilities, systems, and infrastructure to support the next stage of company growth.


  • Well organized, diligent, and detail oriented.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Able to build relationships with and influence individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds.

  • Professional demeanor.

  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.  Financial modeling experience a plus.  Ability to create and manipulate organized, easy-to-follow spreadsheets required.

  • Enthusiasm for lean, hands-on start-up environment and willingness to embrace a wide variety of roles, from very strategic to very executional.

  • Proactive and self-motivated.

  • Ability to travel out of town occasionally a plus.  Ability to drive occasionally required.

  • 2 – 5 years of professional experience, which could include but is not limited to consulting, banking, project development (renewables, infrastructure, real estate), construction project management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or other relevant field preferred.
