The Associate Consultant will support internal and client-facing projects, support data management, communications, and coordination duties. 

Reports to: Lead Consultant, KSH 

Hours: 20-30 hrs./wk. to start, additional hours may be available per internal and client needs Location: Remote, Potential for limited on-site 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Leads/supports projects to improve internal operations and client projects / programs o Documents project scope and sets precise deliverables 

o Establishes and measures performance metrics for projects 

o Develops and manages internal systems and performance metrics 

o Supports planning and coordination of schedules and internal meetings

o Supports communications programming 

o Tracks industry communications and news 

o Synthesizes information across multiple channels 

o Produces research and communications documents and presentations, and marketing materials 

o Establishes and executes communications schedule and deliverables

o Develops and tracks sustainability metrics 

o Conducts ongoing outreach for data, organizes and tracks outreach efforts associate consultant_ksh_221208

o Data organization, quality assurance, and reporting 

o Supports internal and client sustainability reporting and data management initiatives 

  • Performs other related and incidental duties as needed or assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sustainability, public health, or a related field
  • 4 years of experience in sustainability, project coordinator, or data management role
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic boutique consultancy environment
  • Effectively applies project management methods and process improvement principles
  • Enjoys and is skilled at change management, collaboration, and engagement
  • Proficient writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to analyze and synthesize high volume of information 
  • Able to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently, and solve problems 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, independent judgment, and initiative
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, able to effectively use proprietary business software for file sharing, project management, and related applications 
  • Ability to develop materials for marketing, event planning, education, etc.
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly become familiar with fast-paced client organization, or experience working in an academic medical center 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to develop and maintain a good working relationship with the Company staff, members of the community, and colleagues in other Companies. 
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and ethics. 

Essential Physical Functions: 

The incumbent must be able to talk and hear over the phone, and in person. Extended sitting and use of hands and fingers for keyboard work is required. The incumbent will occasionally stand, walk, reach, balance, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities require driving, as well as close reading. Lifting and carrying is occasionally up to 50 pounds. 

Essential Mental Functions: 

The incumbent works remotely in an office environment with the need to maintain conditions for a productive workplace. The incumbent must sustain concentration, follow a set of procedures and organize own work. Work tasks require precise detail and adherence to project deadlines
